I went to a hospital to visit an old lady who recently had a knee replacement surgery last week. The surgery was successful and I was told that she can walk without people’s help. It could be another proof that science can always create miracles. I better choose to believe in it and give up believing in things that can not be proved by maths. Maybe some days in future, people can replace their entire body with products from some human body factories.
About a month ago, this lady took her little brother’s experience as a negative example to persuade me to quit smoke. Since she is a nice lady, she did not deserve such an acrid treatment. So instead of answering her with “He is dead because of the invitation from God but not because his smoking problem”, I said to her,
“I don’t want to live long. Sixty is long enough for me.”
“Bla Bla Bla…”
The whole conversion took 15 minutes away from my short life.
Don’t worry about me. The only thing what I need to do is a lung replacement surgery in the case of feeling regret for the “sixty” promise.
